The Lord spoke to me about a season of effective doors opening in this season.
For
there is a great door for many of God’s people to walk through. There
is a now opportunity for ministry of the Gospel in the market place.
The word “door” is used to denote an occasion or an opportunity for
doing God’s work. It is the means by which we have entrance and access
where there is little obstruction.
We read in 1 Corinthians 16:9 (NKJV): For a great and effective door has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.
This Scripture represents a special opportunity:
- to preach the gospel (see 2 Cor. 2:12; Col. 4:3).
This door is an opening for the extension of the Gospel in the businesses of our cities.
Wise men are on the watch for and will avail themselves of such opportunities.
A door of hope, Hosea 2:15.
A door of faith, Acts 14:27.
An open door, Rev. 3:8.
A door of utterance, Col. 4:3.
“An opportunity for effecting great breakthrough for the harvest. As we read in Acts 19:11 (NKJV): ‘Now God worked unusual miracles by the hands of Paul.‘
But be aware there are – “Many adversaries” that will arise, (Acts 19:9–23) who would want to block the way of the Gospel and prevent the ministry of Jesus Christ from entering our places of business in our cities.
There are many new age teachers and sorcerers who have arisen as adversaries to the true Gospel of Jesus Christ.
Take courage as we,see Paul’s example with his long continued labor of love in Ephesus. He ministered effectively and challenged the interests of those whose gains were derived from idolatry and witchcraft.
Read this in Acts 19:25-27
These Scriptures say something about the power of the Gospel and Paul’s bold proclamation of the truth that turned many hearts to Jesus. We read that even the presence of opposition was a sign to him of the viability of his labor and a reason for pressing on and not turning away from his present assignment.
